I’ve never been a massive fan of lip gloss as i think its one of the most over-used products. Over application can actual make you look like you’re drooling not nice. When working with one on one clients or weddings, i always use either a shimmering orange, shimmering gold/yellow or a shimmering light blue/green eyeshadow (any eyeshadow will do). I line the lips (a must) then i apply the shadow to the bottom lip and upper lip. I apply lipstick. I blot. I repeat. This gives the lips complete 3D dimension with the impression of gloss without the stickiness, plus it helps set the lipstick. The result is always subtle but amazing. I love it.
